Wednesday

So I promised Sasha we would stay home today, and that really was the plan. However I was reminded of preschool story time and asked Sasha if she wanted to go. After making sure it was really her choice by telling me no, she decided it would be fun to go. She was stoked to find out we would be meeting one of her friends there.

So they read mobster stories... Hmm... Iphone typing still evades me obviously. Monster that is. Mobster Stories would be quite interesting for a preschool story time, I am a bit bummed that I can't expand on that subject- but I digress.

Afterwards they made cute little monster friends. Meet "Lemon"




Of course this is after Lemon came home for a pink feather and glitter makeover. Can't have a monster with orange and white feathers and no glitter, that would be just wrong.

Sasha is quite tickled with Lemon now though.

We spent the afternoon working on finishing up Eliana's project on Ancient Egypt. We attempted to meet up with the origami club at the library, but since we were there on the wrong Wednesday of the month it didn't end up happening. The girls got to fold paper with a friend though... Of all thing, they ended up enjoying those "fortune tellers" (aka cootie catchers) that I remember loving once upon a time myself. I am shocked I remembered how to make one!







Now I must go find something respectable to serve for dinner :)
