History & Geography Fair is Here

Well, tomorrow anyway :) Here is Eliana's finished project- she did hers by looking in books and picking out (from the pictures) what she wanted to show in her representation of ancient Egypt.

The overall project
The tag on the blue says "Nile river" and the tag on the green says "crops"





Looking inside, the bird to the right is an Egyptian Goose which she actually learned about from the farm Malia gets horseback riding lessons at. I have no idea if it existed in ancient Egypt, but she felt it had to be included :)

It didn't quite fit inside the scene, but she wanted to include a mummy-filled tomb (but of course!!)







Next, Malia's... She compiled hers by reading of various breeds and picking those she felt had the most interesting facts. Then she chose some facts and pictures to adhere to a foam board.
