And as a bonus they had all kinds of emergency response vehicles out for the kids to explore. At noon we gotto watch a helicopter take flight. Malia was thrilled with experience!
After that I met up with a girlfriend... Went to Tienda Martinez, and then thrift shopping. I found a brilliantly quirky turtle that just had to be bought :)

Yes, glasses. My last pair weren't comfy so I didn't wear them often... Butmy eyes were getting where I really needed to be wearing some, at least for driving. I went and got new ones and they are worlds more comfortable so I manage to wear them more than I don't.
Did you really have a blue turtle like him? I knew the minute I saw him from across the room I just had to have him!!
