Busy Busy

A good busy at least :)

We have signed on with a great artsy co-op group, this one is small and comfortable. The kids in this group are quickly becoming more like cousins than friends- at least it seems. This one will run for 8 weeks in the fall, and we are very much looking forward to it. It is a new group, and we are learning as we go. Fridays while this is on will not cover any at-home academics as I anticipate it taking the whole day. We will probably have to do a math lesson during the weekend to stay on track, but that seems well worth it. Edited to add the update that we will no longer be doing this group :( I'm bummed, but there were some changes in the schedule that made it an even longer and more crowded day than we had anticipated and the girls voted to just do plain old park day instead.

We have also signed up with Treehouse again this year. Treehouse is a more formal and established homeschool co-op that runs for 10 weeks each fall and spring. It is a lot of fun, but less comfortable than our little Friday group. We decided to do it even though 2 co-ops take a lot of time because I thought we would enjoy getting some one on one lesson time if I kept one child out of a class at a time. So we will still be getting our at-home studies done that day.

I'm feeling much more organized and efficient this year, so hopefully there will be many photographs to come!
