I'm so proud of her! A friend of mine offered to help her learn awhile ago and in typical Malia style, she declined. Once she became comfortable with the idea she simply said she was ready to learn. On the first day she was put on a bike without pedals and just asked to try and keep her balance down a small hill.
The session ended with a fall, so the next day we just worked on building her confidence back up. Letting her roll down a grassy hill for a long time. The third day she took off on her own regular bike. A few more pics:
