Malia has been talking about it...

...and we finally did it! Today we created a roly poly habitat, you know those little bugs that curl up into a ball when you touch them? Malia has been fascinated with them for some time now. We've read about their diets and environment (and did you know they are actually crustaceans?)and felt prepared to create a home for them so we can observe them more.

So tomorrow morning, bright and early before the sun heats us up... we'll be out hunting bugs to give a new comfortable home to free of predators.
